Restored Quaker-Federal — weathered cedar shingle, transom over door, widow's walk, white picket — proper Nantucket historic vernacular.

• Strict symmetry — central paneled door, balanced 12-over-12 sash window pairs flanking, sometimes a third over the door.
• Hand-split cedar shingle siding LEFT TO WEATHER silver-grey — annual refresher discouraged; the patina IS the value.
• Steep gable roof in cedar shake with a brick chimney centered on the gable end (often two flanking).
• Widow's walk (small fenced platform) on the ridge — Nantucket merchant signature.
