• Natural-weathered cedar shingle siding AND roof — same material, full surface continuity.
• White-painted classical trim — Doric porch columns, dentil molding, double-hung window casings.
• Deep wraparound porch — full-elevation length, painted-white floor and ceiling, painted railing.
• Gambrel, saltbox, or compound roof form — never simple single-gable.
