Restored adobe pueblo — sculpted earthen walls, vigas, kiva fireplace, deep-set windows.
- Sculpted hand-applied earthen plaster walls — visible hand-tool variation, soft-rounded corners, no straight machine-cut edges.
- Exposed viga beam ceilings — natural pine logs, often hand-peeled, projecting through the wall to the exterior.
- Flat or very low-slope roofs with parapet walls; original mud-and-straw or modern membrane.
- Deep-set wood-mullioned windows — preserved in 18-24 inch wall thickness.
Scope
Light remodel
New paint, siding, roof, and finishes — the structure stays put.
Replace the exterior materials in the chosen style while keeping every structural element exactly. Best for solid bones with dated finishes. This is what most renovations call 'a refresh.'
